Dr Arijit Bhattacharya is working as an Associate Professor in Operations and Supply Chain Management at Norwich Business School of University of East Anglia. He served both industries and academia. He is the recipient of prestigious Irish Research Council of Science, Engineering & Technology's Embark Initiative Post-doctoral Research Fellow in 2007.
Till date he has published more than 70 articles in top-tier international journals, refereed conferences and book chapters. He has served as a Guest Editor of special issues in various prominent journals. Dr Bhattacharya has received research grants from various funding agencies including Irish Research Council for Science & Technology (now Irish Research Council). He actively collaborates with both industries and academia. Till date Arijit has supervised 45 MBA/MSc dissertations and one PhD thesis.
Arijit has research interests in low-carbon logistics, resilient logistics operations, innovation-led lean approaches in supply chain operations, multi-criteria decision-support and logistics optimisation.
Dr Bhattacharya is a reviewer of many ABS 4 and 3-rated journals. Till date he has served in 66 referred international conferences as a programme committee member. He had worked as a track chair of British Academy of Management 2017 and 2018 conferences.
